MOVING

WOBEGON COTTAGE MAY BE MOVING

We have put an offer on this house and within the next few days we will find out if they accept our offer. This would mean the COTTAGE would be moving to the PRAIRIE and would no longer be near the Wobegon Trail so a name change would be in order. I am developing a new blog West Prairie Point

 ( a little house on the prairie) Hope to see you there.

 We are heading to Washington for the Month of November so I guess we will be moving in December if all goes as planned Merry Christmas to us.

REMEMBER WHEN.....

September 11 changed many lives not just the people in New York . We spend a lot of time remembering the people who died in the towers but what about all the military men and women who have died because of that fateful day. There are still many more dying everyday because of what happened. I would like to take some time to remember those people and their loved ones as well. My son Michael went a few months after that day to Iraq but God watched over him and brought him back safely as well as both his cousins Brad and David. We are all very thankful for their lives. They have all gotten married and have families of their own now but they will never forget what happend over there, it will stay with them forever

HIKING AT LAKE MARIA

LAKE MARIA STATE PARK

THERE WERE A LOT OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF MUSHROOMS ON THE HIKE SO MANY I COULD NOT POST THEM ALL  AND MANY COLORS, RED, ORANGE, YELLOW ALMOST LIKE FALL HAD ALREADY ARRIVED

IT WAS A PERFECT DAY FOR HIKING. WE ARE AT THE HALFWAY POINT HERE. THERE ARE TRAILS FOR HORSES AND PEOPLE..I HOPE TO DO THE HORSE TRAIL SOMEDAY. mY HUSBANDS SISTER HAS JOINED A HIKING CLUB..WE HAVE DECIDED TO JOIN NEXT YEAR.

ON OUR WAY TO THE PICNIC AREA WE CAME ACROSS THE  AREA WHERE THEY HAVE RARE TURTLES AND COULD NOT HELP BUT SNAP SOME PICTURES

THE SCENERY WAS BEAUTIFUL THERE ARE WOODS , PRAIRES AND WETLANDS .
