COTTAGE KITCHEN

In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets---some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage.
Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing.
" You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies." Psalm 23:5

SLIDES AND SWINGS

We are at the Sauk River Park in Melrose, Minnesota.

The river runs through the park where thay have about 16 campsites, some for campers and some for tents. There is also a soccer field and baseball field for the local games. Across the park on the north side is a wildlife area for birds. They also have a play area for kids which is where we spent a lot of timeHunter loves to climb and slide

They only have ropes to climb up on and I was a little surprised to see how well Hunter could climb up the ropes

Watch me Grammy!

He was having a great time crossing the bridge to the tunnel

going back to the other side..He wasn't sure about the tunnel

OK Grammy..I will try it

I can do it, I can do it

Oh Boy Grammy...that was fun. Let's do it again

Now off to that very big slide.

He was afraid at first but after a few times down he was going all by himself

What a great day we had...now time for a nap!

DOWN BY THE RIVER (with hunter and grandpa)

My sister-in-law has retired near us from California. She has a home where we used to live in a small town a bit west from where we are now. She left for a month to visit family and friends back in California and we were watching out for her house and plants. There is a park in town, where the Sauk River runs through it so we took Hunter and Harper for a day at the park. ( after checking on the house and yard of course)

A walk down by the river

Hunter loves bridges

Grandpa and Hunter stopping for a picture

Now where does this path go to Granpa?

Are then any fishes in that river?

Whats over their Grandpa?

I don't see any ducks.

Where did they go?

I can run fast Grandpa

That water is running fast too!

Be careful Grandpa...don't fall in

Let's go find the swings

Harper slept most of the way. Now over to the slides and swings.

I AM STILL HERE

Here are a couple of reasons I don't get much time to blog right now, I just wanted to let anyone who reads this blog know I am still around. Hunter age 2 has been a big help with his little sister.

Harper Rose is 10 weeks and starting to hold her rattle. Hunter came running into the kitchen saying" grammy, grammy she is holding her rattle so I quickly got a picture

Ellie is only coming one day a week now because it became to much with the baby and two toddlers in my small space. She seems to be enjoying her daycare. We call it school.

~~~~Thanks for the visit~~~~
