COTTAGE KITCHEN

In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets---some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage.
Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing.
" You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies." Psalm 23:5

AROUND THE COTTAGE...

I was over at wallyworld (aka. walmart)
and stumbled upon this bistro set on clearence
It fits perfectly on the porch.
The chairs rock and swivel
which will be nice when the grandbabies visit.
At least for a few more weeks while the
weather is still nice and not to cold.
The table has a small shelf for books or magazines.
Just a cool drink and I am all set for relaxing
and enjoying the view.
I also found this clock on sale and thought it
would go perfectly above the fireplace.
also the lantern on the hearth.
I have started my Fall decorating..
a work in progress:)
The little black milking stools
are for the grandkids when they visit,
they are the same so they don't fight over them.

This is a peace lily which we recieved a few years
ago when Hubbys dad passed away
The follwing year his mom passed.
Our first blooms since then and there are two.
Off to eat some bacon and drink my morning coffee.
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND

Love the bistro set and the clock; both good choices for the site you chose to place them. I enjoy my outdoor spaces until it gets so cold I can't stand it. Thank goodness we aren't there yet!

Hey! I just got done eating bacon and coffee!! Mine was for lunch though. I love that patio set - those colors would go at our house! I've seen that clock at Walmart and wanted to get it last year for a perfect spot on our wall. I was told by my husband that we don't 'need a wall clock, if I want to know what time it is I can glance into the kitchen at the digital on the microwave or press the 'guide' button on the remote and the tv will tell me the time." Nice bistro set, and I like the big clock very much. I have a big clock over my fireplace and we like it.

Bacon is good at any time !

I now have a clock that does not look fuzzy when checking the time.

I know you guys moved but I found a fellow Melrose, Minnisodadin.

GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) — A Montana resident who is considered to be the world's oldest man celebrates his 113th birthday Monday.

A party for Walter Breuning was planned at the Rainbow Retirement Community in Great Falls. Gov. Brian Schweitzer was among those expected to attend.

Breuning was born on Sept. 21, 1896 in Melrose, Minn., and moved to Montana in 1918. He worked for the railroad for 50 years.
