COTTAGE KITCHEN

In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets---some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage.
Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing.
" You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies." Psalm 23:5

COTTAGE SUNDAY....

Sunday with grandma.
Eleanor is helping me make chili.
Sundays after church my son, his wife
my husband and I get together for football.
This week we went to our place for chili
and the Minnesota Vikings Game
She was very tired after helping in the kitchen
I think she is going to like to bake and cook.
She was a very good helper.
We then headed over to my sons house
where we watch the
Seattle Seahawks lose to the Bears.
I am not sure if Eleanor is going to be a football fan.
She has long fingers so I think she will enjoy the piano.
This is the first grandchild we have been so involved with
and it is wonderful to be such a big part of
her life. My son is always sending little videos which
I may post sometime.
Life really is a miracle.

Eleanor certainly is dainty and beautiful. She definitely has piano hands and I know she will delight you whatever she excels at in life! Enjoy her.

Boy, those Seahawks....hope they do better, but then we always seem to be saying that.

Eleanor is very dainty and pretty, and what a blessing, sounds like good times for you and Paul. Glad to read these thankful words, Praise God.

What a sweet little one and I'm sure she'll love baking and cooking if she gets to do it with you! How fun to have 'football Sundays' with Michael and Karla and get to snuggle Ellie!

Oh, hey, I was going to tell you that if you want your photos to show up larger on your blog just click the photo size box that shows up right below where you're downloading your photos from your computer. It says 'small, medium or large'. I have mine set to large. You might not want to - just thought I'd say it in case you didn't know. I just figured it out myself a little while ago when my eyes were hurting from straining to see things on my computer. =)

Thanks for your comment on my post this morning. I just realized that your are in MN!!! My nephew lives near Minneapolis and just freezes to death most of the winter! He is like me, a Georgia peach and even though this is his 4th year there, he longs for summer to come around again! Have a nice weekend.
