After reading " Spot on cedar pond" this morning I was inspired to share what little bit of recycling I have done for my christmas gifts. I started wrapping some yesterday for my grandaughters (they wanted sparkley shoes) The paper is from the after Christmas sale so it was cheap but not free but the ribbon is saved from past years(free) If you want to wrap a pretty package it can really cost a bundle so I like to save what every ribbon, bags or papers I can and reuse them later it makes for some fun stories and memories.

Such good ideas to save money. Many times, bath soaps, candles etc. have ribbon or raffia bows and I save it all to put on gifts. Hope you and baby Ellie have a wonderful day.

Hey Alice! Playing catch up on the cold snowy morning! I always save the ribbon and I too buy my paper after Christmas for the next year!
My mom still uses tags for us that she has been using since we were babies. Not only is it a good way to recycle, it becomes SUCH a nostalgic tradition. I already do it for my kids too! :-)
