COTTAGE KITCHEN

In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets---some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage.
Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing.
" You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies." Psalm 23:5

BABYSITTING AGAIN

WELL I HAVE RESTED UP A LITTLE AND IT IS TIME FOR ELLIE'S AND NOAH'S MOMMY TO GO BACK TO WORK. ELLIE WILL BE GOING BACK TO DAYCARE AND NOAH WILL BE COMING TO GRAMMY'S FOR A FEW WEEKS. WE HAVE A TRIP PLANNED FOR NOVEMBER TO GO VISIT MY PARENTS , SISTERS AND BROTHERS SO NOAH WILL TRY DAYCARE AT THAT POINT BUT THE PLAN WILL BE TO HAVE HIM AT GRAMMY'S UNTIL HE GETS A LITTLE OLDER. IT IS A VERY BUSY TIME FOR US. WE BOUGHT A HOUSE CLOSE TO MY SON AND HIS FAMILY (WIFE KARLA DAUGHTER ELEANOR AND SON NOAH) SO WHEN WE GET BACK FROM VACATION WE WILL BE MOVING. DECEMBER IS USUALLY COLD AND SNOWY BUT MAYBE, GOD WILLING. IT WILL BE MILD SO WE CAN GET ALL MOVED IN.
AFTER THE MOVE MY BLOG WILL CHANGE TO WEST PRAIRIE POINT.BLOGSPOT.COM (A LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE) I WILL NO LONGER BE NEAR THE WOBEGON TRAIL AND THE HOUSE IS REALLY MORE A RANCH STYLE THAN A COTTAGE SO I THOUGHT MAYBE, THIS WOULD BE A GOOD TIME FOR A CHANGE. THERE SEEMS TO BE A LOT OF THAT IN MY LIFE RIGHT NOW. THIS MEANS WE WILL RETIRE HERE IN MINNESOTA BUT WILL HAVE LOTS OF VISITS TO WASHINGTON STATE WHERE I HAVE A DAUGHTER AND 4 GRANDCHILDREN AS WELL THE REST OF MY FAMILY.
THANK YOU FOR VISITING AND HOPE YOU ENJOY A WALK WITH ME ON THIS NEW JOURNEY. THE ROAD OF LIFE IS FULL OF TWISTS AND TURNS AND WITH GODS HELP WE CAN HAVE A PEACEFUL RIDE.

Alice, it's all about change, isn't it? At this stage in our lives we wonder how many more we will have to go through. Hopefully good! We may be moving here before too long too, but still in the same area. One kid in Ind, on in Japan. We'll stay put. I'll be eager to watch you decorate the new digs. :D

I'm excited for your move and I know how you must be thinking of how you'll decorate the new place for the holidays and where to put the Christmas tree!
