COTTAGE KITCHEN

In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets---some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage.
Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing.
" You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies." Psalm 23:5

AROUND THE COTTAGE......

New garden shoes. They are comfy and very handy.
My son gave them to me for my birthday

I so enjoyed all the blogs I am following and their pretty porches so I am working on mine.
A quiet little spot to reflect on the day or to prepare for the day ahead. I am trying to figure out how to change that paint color on the table without painting the glass. I will probably have to take it apart to do the underside legs.

They really are both very happy, not sure why they look so serious. Grandpa and Hunter, maybe because half of our vacation has been spent at the dentist and doctors visits.

A MERRY HEART DOETH GOOD LIKE A MEDICINE
PROVERBS 17:22

(I will keep this in mind while waiting to see 2 specialists next month)

I made my porch into an outdoor room for the good weather months and we have enjoyed it very much. We visit more as a family, watch less tv, and see more of our neighbors. I love being out there as soon as the sun begins to rise with a hot chai latte to read my Bible and pray. I miss it during the winter! Good luck; I've painted a similar table by disassembling it. Can't wait to see the finished photos!

Michael and Karla gave you a very nice present, and they also do double duty as porch ornaments! Whatever you end up doing with the table I know it will look just right. Don't you love all the wonderful paints available for metal and plastic? I take advantage of the new Krylon spray paints to color cheap plastic pots , and am very happy with the results.

Porches are the best places to spend warm summer mornings and cool down in sumer evenings, reading my Bible, books, doing needlework. Cuddling grandchildren.

I meant, your garden shoes do double duty as porch ornaments, NOT Michael and Karla..although ,they too just might decorate a porch quite nicely.....
