COTTAGE KITCHEN

In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets---some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage.
Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing.
" You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies." Psalm 23:5

COTTAGE DIRT...

I really enjoyed church today.
It was all about dirt.
I have heard Bible Talks on this subject before
MATTHEW 13
This was by far the most interesting.
I will share just a portion.
HARD DIRT--produces a hard heart
SHALLOW DIRT--generates fizzled faith
THORNY DIRT--affixiates a faith-bearing life
(managing life apart from GOD)
GOOD DIRT--yields a fruit-bearing life.

After church my husband and I were talking and we realized that we had both been somewhere between thorny dirt and good dirt. We both want to be good dirt so we will be tilling hard in our garden called life and removing as many weeds as possible, the ones that interfere with GODS plan. I really love Sundays ,they really help to prepare you for the week ahead.
May God bless you all today.

I always like reading or hearing about the discussions a couple have between themselves that causes them to think about what really matters, and then coming to an agreement they will remind each other about. Very nice post Alice. Thought provoking, dirt!Makes gardening seem even more noble a pursuit.
