COTTAGE KITCHEN

In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets---some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage.
Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing.
" You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies." Psalm 23:5

NEW AT THE COTTAGE...

Here is the new table and chairs I found on sale.
It works well in the new space.
I had a large oak table and chairs but gave it to my son
when they bought their new home.
I thought they would be having more of the family dinners ,
their house is larger than mine was. Something about your mothers
cooking always seems better I guess. I am still having most of the dinners.
I can't wait to dress it up.
The move is going well but we are not as young as we once were
and it was not as easy. I tried to tell hubby to have the table delivered
but he thought that was silly, now he wishes he did. IT WAS VERY HEAVY.
Hope to be enjoying some of those meals soon, real soon

You know, we are discovering that sometimes paying a little extra for someone else to do the physical work just makes more sense...your hubby is beginning to sound like my hubby....(your brother)

We are finding out with this move that we are not as young and as strong as we used to be. It has been almost 10 years since the last move and our age is showing.
We will definately be going to the gym and hopefully building some muscle..lol

The whole "not as young as we used to be" has become a frequent saying in our household! If delivery is included in something we find we need - yes sir we'll have it delivered. Table is very pretty and I'm sure the meals served there will be a source of more happy memories. We talk about downsizing and then go "oops - that would mean MOVING again -forget it!"'course we are somewhat older than y'all

Dave is always telling me we've reached 'the age' where we have a bit more money than "us". He's right -smile-. The table and chairs are lovely; are they Chippendale?

Such a lovely dining set. We ordered a recliner and had to have it delivered too. We just can't do what we once did! Enjoy that pretty new table/chairs.

We are looking for a new sofa and that will be delivered..
The move is going well but taking much longer than expected. A few more trips, a yard sale and then we should be all moved in by Sunday. i am tired.
